‘I’m not Alice’ to vie at Queen Palm Int'l Film Festival

Iranian animation ‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ is to vie at 2020 Queen Palm Int'l Film Festival in US.

Iranian short animation ‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ has been qualified to enter the competition program of the Annual Queen Palm Int'l Film Festival (QPIFF) in the US.

Directed by Mahdiyeh Sadadat Ahmadi-Soleimani, the short is among the competition lineup of the 2nd edition of the American screening event.

‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ narrates the story of a little girl who loses her family in the war. The only thing that saves her is her drawings. Before the bomb falls and takes away her family, she sits by the window and finds out that the people on the other side of the window are like wild animals. Now that she is alone, she only has her imagination at her disposal to help her.

The short toon will also appear at the 4th Heritales-International Heritage Film Festival to be held on September 24-27, 2020 in Portugal.

Queen Palm International Film Festival is a quarterly film, music and screenwriting competition with a live annual screening and awards show event.

QPIFF honors films from around the world with a vast array of awards in different categories and genres.

The upcoming edition of the US film event is slated for September 18-20, 2020 in Palm Springs, California.
